About the Role
As a Paralegal, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our legal team with a range of legal and administrative services within our fast paced Commercial Litigation Team. This role will be ideal for someone who is detail orientated and driven to gain experience in the legal industry.
Whilst we prefer a candidates with 6+ months of experience in debt recovery or commercial litigation, we are open to exploring candidates who do not hold experience but possess a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and want to take the next step in their career.
We believe in providing comprehensive training and mentorship to the right individual to allow them to flourish in this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with clients, debtors, third parties, courts, and sheriffs.
- Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
- Maintaining accurate client and case records in our legal systems.
- Assisting with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the team
- Collaborating with other Paralegals to meet deadlines and deliver results.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 6 months in debt recovery or commercial litigation (preferred but not mandatory).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, strong organisation skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Confidence in using legal systems and/or Microsoft Office Products (i.e Word, Excel, Onenote, Outlook) and technology to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Team Player: A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a willingness to learn.
